My dear young friends

My dear young friends,
when your legs are powered by purpose,
your arms grown large enough to embrace every soul,
your eyes see the invisible faces,
your ears tuned to the sound of silence,
your minds charting new waters,
your hearts filled with compassion.
​Trust me, my heroes,
a revolution of justice, equity, peace, and sustainability
is knocking at the door.
​You are the present and the future.
​March on, march on!
Let us march together toward a new world.

I have composed a poem dedicated to young individuals, with a specific admiration for my colleagues who are spearheading the Satyarthi Youth Network. The social media launch of SYN occurred yesterday. The network was established by a cohort of 25 exceptionally talented and dedicated young people from around the world to globalise compassion.
