On 17th June 2019 Youth Leaders and Campaigners under the 100 million for 100 million campaign converged in Ghana. Nobel Peace Laureate Mr. Kailash Satyarthi addressing these youth from students unions with several million members in Asia, Europe, Latin America, Middle East and Africa emphasised upon the need for reinvigorating efforts to ensure sustainable peace, safety and education for all children of this world. Notably this is the first time ever when the youth representatives from across the globe congregated to pledge support for the children. Mr. Satyarthi likened Youth to match sticks for lighting up the lives of children who for some reason have been left behind but that does not make them any less deserving for a future that is just, equitable and prosperous.
