Nobel laureate Kailash Satyarthi is on a Bharat Yatra, covering 11,000 kilometre across the country to spread awareness against child sexual abuse and trafficking, aiming for some policy moves.
On the side-lines of his yatra in Mumbai, CNBC-TV18's Archana Shukla caught up with the Nobel Laureate who says the government needs to increase its spending on primary education and protection to end trafficking and child labour, adding that the existing laws against child labour are good, only if states strengthen the implementation.
