On 19th June 2019 delivering the keynote address at the Lorenzo Natali Media Awards Ceremony at European Development Days in Brussels, Nobel Peace Laureate Mr. Kailash Satyarthi referred journalists as custodians of truth. Citing his own days as a journalist back in 1980-81 he said that journalism has been the mother of his activism. He called upon the journalists to embrace compassion and prudently filter conjecture from news raising the issues of the most marginalised and exploited children in the world.
