On 27th July 2019, Nobel Peace Laureate addressed the senior Judges of Supreme Court, Kolkata High Court and District Judges of West Bengal at an event hosted by West Bengal Legal Services Authority in conjunction with Bachpan Bachao Andolan. He emhasized upon expeditious justice delivery to the last child. He also called upon the judicial officers as the custodians of hope for millions who await Justice. He underpinned that the Justice Delivery Mechanism will lose its purpose if it is costly, cumbersome and lengthy. Mr. Satyarthi complimented the top Judiciary for its compassion and foresightedness for the betterment of society, particularly children.
