On 14th December 2019, Nobel Peace Laureate attended the Platinum Jubilee Celebrations of The Blind Relief Association as the Honourable Chief Guest. In an inspiring and impassioned speech, Mr. Satyarthi gave the message of compassion, harmony and sensitivity in the society needed towards the betterment of the state of most marginalized and exploited children. Awestruck at the talent of the young people, Mr. Satyarthi remarked that visually impaired people may not have ‘sight’ but no one can stop them from having a great ‘vision’. Though they are unable to see light, they have abilities to enlighten the world with their inner beauty.
