On 23rd August 2019, Nobel Peace Laureate Mr. Kailash Satyarthi addressed youth leaders from across the globe at the first World Youth Conference on Kindness organized by UNESCO MGIEP at Vigyan Bhawan. The underlying theme of the event was 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam: Gandhi for the Contemporary World: Celebrating the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi’ where Mr. Satyarthi was the Guest of Honour. Mr. Satyarthi exhorted the youth to imbibe the values of Mahatma Gandhi and ignite compassion in order to attain the Sustainable Development Goals via acts of kindness.
