On 19th November 2019, Nobel Peace Laureate released a report titled, "Changing the Odds for Vulnerable Children: Building Opportunities & Resilience" at OECD, Paris along with Secretary-General of the OECD, Angel Gurria and Princess Laurentien of Netherlands. Chief of Staff and Sherpa to the G20, OECD, Gabriela Ramos was also present on the occasion along with other prominent OECD members and partners. Speaking at the event, Mr. Satyarthi emphasized that If children are vulnerable anywhere it’s not their fault It’s a reflection of a collective vulnerability of compassion and action. He remarked that there are several substitutes to words but not to action. Words can help but only action is capable of protecting children. The Nobel Peace Laureate raised the call for action with urgency, boldness, innovation and compassion.
