On 21st October 2019, Nobel Peace Laureate Mr. Kailash Satyarthi delivered a stirring speech at the opening session of International Seminar on Discrimination at Federal University of Bahia, Salvador. Addressing hundreds of judges, lawyers, law students and eminent citizens in Salvador, Brazil, Mr. Satyarthi spoke on ”The quest for peoples equality and non-discrimination” He remarked that inequality is a kind of economic violence and discrimination, a kind of societal and cultural violence. Both are like a pair of manmade scissors trying to clip the wings of God's beautiful creation - humans.
